Stanley Kubrick

Stanley Kubrick was born in New York City on July 26, 1928. He made his first film when he was 25, its name is Fear and Desire, but his career started off after the film The Killing. Kubrick made one of the most powerful films against war in the world of cinema.. In spite of the excellent critics, Paths of Glory was forbidden in some countries like France.
Kubrick never won the Oscar for best director, but he got Best Director Academy Award nominations for Dr. Strangelove, 2001: A Space Odyssey, A Clockwork Orange and Barry Lyndon. Kubrick only won the Oscar for special effects in 2001: A Space Odyssey.
Kubrick directed films like Spartacus, 2001: A Space Odissey, A Clockwork Orange, The Shining (Adapted from Stephen King's book), Full Metal Jacket, and his last film, Eyes Wide Shut, with Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise. Most Kubrick's films portrays people who suffer a gradual process of psychological disintegration that many times leads them to madness.

Kubrick died when he was sleeping on March,7 1999.

I love Kubrick's films, they are really good. For me, Kubrick is the best director ever. My favorite Kubrick’s film is “A Clockwork Orange”. I have already watched a lot of Kubrick's films. I like them because they portray the reality. “2001: A Space Odyssey” is the only film about the space that respected physical laws.
