"The Devil Wears Prada"

The director of this comedy is David Frantel. The casting includes stars like: Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tocci. The movie takes place in the United States. Andrea or “Andy” is a young journalist. She’s hired by Runway, the most important fashion magazine of New York. Everybody who works there has to be in fashion. So to show her boss she could be in fashion, she asks the designer of Runway for some advice on how to be well-dressed. She changes her style. But will all these new things change Andy for the better or for the worst? Will Andy’s boss notice she is a good assistant?

This movie is based on a best-seller by Lauren Weisberger. The acting is good and so is the plot. The title is a personification of Andy’s boss. Although the performances are good, the screenplay isn’t very original and the thrilling opening showing New York isn’t that amazing.

The title might impress the audience because people might think the movie is about the devil. However, it’s a good way to show everybody the “devil” can be present in our ordinary lives.
People should watch this movie to see how difficult everybody’s first job is. It’s a very good comedy that makes you forget your problems by making you laugh a lot. The question is: Is this movie hit or miss? Only you can give this answer.
