A walk to remember


Landon Carter (Shane West) is a shallow but well-meaning teenager who spends most of his time hanging out with his friends and trying hard to ignore the impending responsibilities of adulthood. He meets the naive Jamie Sullivan (Mandy Moore), who is a nerd and strange for him. Jamie helps Landon in drama lessons. Landon becomes her boyfriend. Jamie has cancer, they were going to get married and Jamie died.
I love this movie because it is very cute and romantic. For me they are the best movie and the best book in the world!

Our Favorite Movie is the trilogy “Pirates of the Caribbean”. In this exciting story (first movie) Captain Barbossa and his crew stole the ship (The Black Pearl) of “Captain” Jack Sparrow. Barbossa invaded the city of Port Royal, an kidnapped the daughter of the governor, Elizabeth Swann. Will Turner, the blacksmith, friend of Elizabeth helped Jack to recover his ship and the woman. But what they didn’t know is: The Pearl is cursed and the crew turned into skeleton.

The film is Very funny ant the story is very exciting. This is our favorite movie because it is an adventure comedy, and is about ghost-ships and pirates. See the movie and the trilogy of “Pirates of the Caribbean”!

At the end of the film he died, because he got crazier.

I liked this film, because it is a thrilling terror movie.

My favorite film is...

"An American Werewolf in Paris" because I love fiction movie. In most scenes is possible see many special effects made in computer. I like too the soundtrack. It´s called "mounth"! The band is called Busch and I have three CDs. It's very good!



First composition

One of the films that I like best was An American Werewolf in Paris. It’s about three youngsters that decide to take a trip to Europe being Paris big thrill for them. However, when Andy (Tom Everett Scott) meets the beautiful Serafine (Julie Delpy), he thinks he found the woman of his life. But, Serafine is a werewolf and every night she is transformed in to a very dangerous animal.During the film Andy discovers that Serafine's father is also a werewolf an d a scientist that invented a formula that helps him not to transformed into a werewolf. But, to end this curse it is necessary to kill the werewolf he was bitten by.

The Witness

Soon after she became a widow, Rachel Lapp, who belongs to an Amish community, and her eight years old son, Samuel, decide to take a trip to Baltimore. Samuel goes to the bathroom and there he sees a murder. The victim was a policeman.

The detective, John Book, investigates the death. He’s the only one who knows that the murderer was a big black man. Samuel was led to the police station to the testify and to recognize the murderer. He sees the picture of the murderer in a newspaper. It was a man who was being paid homage because of his work against drugs and traffic.

The murderer wants to kill the detective but he runs away with Rachel and Samuel to the Amish community where they live. The murderer tries to kill John, but he just got wounded. John has to stay there – in the Amish community-, he can’t be taken to the hospital, because if Samuel is found the murderer could kill him.

The film was directed by Peter Weir, the main actor is Harrison Ford.

The Cinderella Story

The film "The Cinderella Story" is about a girl called Sam.


Her father died when she was a kid, and then she went to live with her stepmother, Fionna and the stepsisters. She starts working at Fionna's Café. She wants to study in Princeton, but she can’t afford it.

Sam meets a boy in the chat room. The problem is that he doesn't know who she is, and she doesn't know who he is - they don't say their names. The only thing they know is that they study in the same school, but they don't know if they have already seen each other.

Sam arranges to meet him at a costume party. But she doesn't have a fancy dress. So her friend Honda lends her one.
At the party she meets her "admirer". His name is Austin and he is the most popular boy in the school. Sam doesn’t say her name because she is afraid of being rejected.

Austin discovers who she is. She gets sad and humilliated for being a waitress.

In the end they go to Princeton together and Sam discovers that all the family's things belong to her.

I loved this movie and the actors. Chad Michael Murray performs Austin and Hilary Duff, Sam.

The only part I didn't like is when Sam is humilliated. I think it was too sad!

Tarzan



Tarzan is an entertaining film, a classic. It is directed by Edgar Rice Burroughs and the songs are Phil Collins’.

The film is about a man, Tarzan, who lives in a dangerous forest in Africa. He was brought by gorillas, but their leader, Kerchak, doesn’t like Tarzan, because he is human.
Tarzan grows up with Terk, his gorilla friend and Tantor, an elephant. They use to jump from tree to tree and make incredible stunts.
One day three researchers, Jane a very pretty and smart girl, her dad and Clayton, a bad hunter, arrive there. They met Tarzan and Jane falls in love with him.
If you want to know what happens next, see the film!!!

I think this film is very cool and funny because there are animals and suspense. When Kerchak dies with a shot, it’s very sad. Tarzan becomes the new leader.

Sweet November

Nelson and Sara have nothing in common. One day they meet at the DMV (Departament of Motor Vehicles) while they are trying to do a driving test. He tries to cheat on the test asking her the answer but the "teacher" picks her test.
When Nelson finishes, he goes to his car and Sara is there waiting for him. He offers her some money to redeem himself but she doesn't accept it. Later she goes to his house and asks him to help her save two dogs that are going to be sacrificied.
Nelson is not doing fine in his job. When he gets home he discovers that his girlfriend is leaving him. Later, his porter tells him there is a box for him from " that crazy girl". When he opens it, one of the dogs is inside it. He goes to her apartment and asks her to leave him alone.
In the end they fall in love and he proposes her but she can't be commited because she's sick and she's going to die.

I liked this film because it is very romantic, but I didn't like the end. I think that she should have stayed with him.

Spider Man

This film is about Pete Parker’s life. Pete has brown eyes and brown hair. He loves Mary Jane who is a beautiful girl. She has green eyes and orange hair.
The film starts when Pete and his girlfriend Mary Jane are coming back home. ”A strange black thing” sticks on his motorbike plate. He leaves Mary Jane in her house and goes to his house. This “strange black thing” follows him and without being notice, it sticks on his clothes and starts controlling him.
He changes his behavior, but after some time he realizes the “thing” is controlling him. He tries to take his clothes off but he is not able to. He tries again and this time he succeeds but a drop of “the thing” falls on his friend’s clothes, who becomes a bad man and tries to destroy him.
In the end, his other friend helps Spider-man to destroy “the thing”
I liked the film because the special effects are really good but on the other hand it doesn’t have a good plot. It’s always the same story. But even so I recommend this film!

Snakes on a plane

The film is about a plane that goes to Hawaii. In the airplane there are boxes with snakes and a programmed clock to open them at a certain time during the flight.The boxes open releasing the snakes.They start to bite the members of the crew killing them.The scene is fear and horror in the airplane. Some members of the crew survive to tell the story.
In my opinion it is a good film but is out of touch with the reality.

Mean Girls

I chose to write about the movie "Mean Girls".
This movie is about a girl, Cady Heron (Lindsay Lohan), who has always lived in Africa. She moves to Chicago, in the USA. There she meets Damian (Daniel Franzese) and Janis Ian (Lizzy Caplan), who are not popular in the school. But after, she meets a more popular group, "The Plastics". Their leader is Regina George (Rachel McAdams), and her friends are Gretchen (Lacey Chabert) and Karen (Amanda Seyfriend). "The Plastics" are three beautiful popular girls who invite Cady to join the group.
Cady starts to take part in the group only to know their secrets to tell Damian and Janis. In this meantime, Cady falls in love with Regina's ex-boyfriend, Aaron Samuels (Jonathan Bennett).
I loved this movie. It is very cool and many people loved it too.

Mean Girls


Cady Heron had lived her first 15 years in Africa with her parents, who were zoologists.
One day she moves out from Africa to the USA and has to learn the rules of High School. There, she meets Damian and Janis, who are not popular students. She also meets "The Plastics" (Regina, the queen bee, Gretchen and Karen). The Plastics are three pretty popular girls who invite Cady to become one.
Cady joins the group only to know their secrets and tell Janis and Damian everything. However, Cady falls in love with Aaron Samuels, Regina’s ex-boyfriend.
In the end Cady becomes on of The Plastics.
I liked this film because it shows the reality in the girls’ world but I think it is a little exaggerated.

Kill Bill

One of the best movies I have ever seen is Kill Bill.The movie is about a woman who is pregnant and brutally beaten up till death, but what they didn't expect was that after some years in coma she would wake up and search for revenge.

The whole story is divided into two movies.The firt one shows the revenge against two of the five killers.The second shows a little of the story before she was beaten up and her revenge against the last three, including Bill.

Kill Bill is an incredible movie because first of all it has an amazing director, Quentin Tarantino, who also directed Sin City, and shows the fantastic Uma Thurman fighting.There are also some great ideas Quentin improved in the movie, like the first big fight in black and white.

Finding Nemo

This film is about a fish whose mother was eaten by a shark. When his mother died he was still in the egg.
His father Martin is alive so he takes care of Nemo as the most important thing of his life.

On the first day of Nemo's class he is taken to school by his father who asks the teacher to take good care of Nemo. One day during an outing with the school’s friends, Nemo is captured by divers. His father gets desperate and starts to look for him.

On his way he finds a friend, Dori. And together they save Nemo and his friends who were being kept in an aquarium. They run away to the sea. Nemo and Martin go to their houses.

In the end Dori goes to live with Martin and Nemo. They become great friends!

"Edward Scissorhands"



This film is a fabulous Tim Burton’s work.
It is a romantic and funny story with Johnny Depp and Winona Rider.
The movie is like a fable. It tells the story of a strange guy who lived in a castle located on a hill with an inventor.
The great project of this man was Edward, but suddenly he died and Edward is not finished. He gets scissors instead of hands.
People who lived near the hill were afraid of it. One day a woman who works with avon cosmetics goes to the castle to try to sell her products. There she finds him and both get scared. After a while she decides to take him to her house. In the beggining it is difficult to him to get adapted because he isn’t used to people and life far from the hill. He falls in love with the woman’s daughter.
Then, the adventures of Edward begins.
The neighbors first love him, but then a bad boy sets up for him because he is jealous of Edward. People from the city believe in the set up and start blaming him. He came back to the castle where he used to live and people think he is dead.
In the end, they realize they had made a big mistake.

Click is a film about a man who buys a universal remote control. This remote is magic. It can take you to any place you want, but it’s bad because it can move your life forward or backward.

It is a very good movie. The story is very touching.

The directors are Kate Beckinsale and Cristopher Walken. The main actor is Adam Sandler.

The message of the film is that we have to enjoy life every minute and never try to change it.

I recommend this film because it is very beautiful.

A Night At The Museum

The movie I chose is “A Night at the museum”. It was directed by Shawn Levy and the main characters are: The good guys: Larry Daley (Ben Stiller),Terry Roosevelt (Robin Williams). The bad guys: Gus (Mickey Rooney),Cecil (Dick Van Dyke) and Reginald (Bill Cobbs).

The movie is about a man called Larry Daley. Disillusioned and unemployed, he needs a job to pay his rent. So he is offered a job as a night guard at the natural History museum and he accepts it.
Cecil, the ex-night guard and his colleages Reginald and Gus show Larry the museum and tell him not to leave anything to get in or get out.
When the night comes, he falls asleep. When he wakes up he didn´t find the dinossaur and to his surprise it´s alive and acts like a dog. Another surprise is that all objects in the museum are alive too. When he goes to the miniature room he’s attacked and Terry Roosevelt saves him. He explains to Larry that the things in the museum are alive thank to the Ahkmenrah’s plate and if someone gets out when the sun is rising they are turned to dust.

In the end, the museum turns a success and people start visiting it. Every night when the museum closes, the objects come to life and have fun.
This movie makes us think we have to fight for our objectives if we want to succeed.

He was free then and he traveled to his city with the most dangerous thief in the world. The thief and his friends took over the airplane and many prisoners would die. Will he survive? Will he meet his daughter?
This is an action movie and for those who like action movies it is a very good recommendation.
I liked this movie because it has screams and special effects. Just like other action movies, the fights are false.
