Timothy William Burton was born in August 25 of 1958.He described his childhood as imaginative and lost in his own dreams.

After High School he won a scholarship to study Animation in Disney. As a Director he made the film “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” that talks about a chocolate factory, that gloved hand lays Golden Tickets on five chocolate bars, which are wrapped with other bars into trucks across the world. Charlie Bucket, Veruca Salt, Augustus Gloop, Violet Beauregarde and Mike Teavee are the children that won the 5 gold tickets and are invited to go to the Willy Wonka’s Factory .

There the children meet strange creatures like the Oompa-Loompas but, for many reasons, they are eliminated. The only child who gets to the end is Charlie Bucket that as a prize won the factory. Charlie and his family move to the factory and they live happly ever after.

Stars: Johnny Depp as Willy Wonka and Freddie Highmore as Charlie Bucket.

...tells the story about a young man who grows up in life and marries a rich young woman. Our leading actor is a very lucky person . “Match Point” is an exciting movie about the British society. This plot is a little cruel with some characters, but it is very realistic and contrasts good and bad luck.

The director Woody Allen, famous because for his comedy movies, did an amazing job with this beautiful story about love, luck and money. All the actor and actresses have an excellent performance and there is carefully chosen sound track.

You need to see this wonderful production and one of the best by Woody Allen.

"Titanic"

.... is a real story about the ship which crashed in the Atlantic Ocean. The ship hit an iceberg and many rich people, who were trying to run away from the war times, died in this shocking shipwreck. England was one of the most important countries in the world by then.

The two main characters are Rose ( Sara Jacoson) and Jack ( Leonardo di Caprio). The theme song is sung by Rosana Clark. Titanic has many special effects and millions of dollars were invested in this production, which is directed by James Cameron, the best director this year. Titanic was the most expensive film in the world.

You can see the life by 1916 and the film has many special effects. Titanic can be watched by all ages as it is the biggest film of all times. It´s the winner of 10 Oscars, you shouldn´t miss it.

"The Secret Window"

.... gave Johnny Depp his most riveting performance in this action ,suspense thriller. One of its special features is the cast, which includes John Turturro, Maria Bello and Charles S. Dutton.

Following a bitter separation from his wife, Mort Rainey ( Depp), who is a mystery writer, is unexpectedly confronted by a dangerous stranger named John Shooter (Turturro). The plot takes place at Rainey´s remote lake house and the psychotic Shooter demands justice claiming that Mort has plagiarized his short story. When Shooter´s demands turn into threats and murder, Rainey asks for the help of a private detective. However the desperate writer soon discovers that he cannot trust anyone or anything.

This shocking psychological thriller by David Koepp is recommended to those who can hold their breaths without feeling panic-stricken.

"The Lord of the Rings"






While the aid of a courageous society of friends and allies, Frodo a dangerous mission to destroy the legendary ring. The servants of Sauron want to capture Frodo and if Sauron rescues the ring all the world will be destroyed.

This film was takes place in the mountains of New Island, the scenery is very beautiful, there are a lot of special effects and extras people acting in this production. There are suspense scenes when Frodo needs to destroy the ring and the adventure begins as he and his allies meet a lot of monsters and other frightening creatures.


It’s recommended for those who like films with special effects, wars, monsters, sorcerers, dwarfs, besides some suspense. This trilogy has won eleven Oscars.

"The Devil Wears Prada"

The director of this comedy is David Frantel. The casting includes stars like: Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tocci. The movie takes place in the United States. Andrea or “Andy” is a young journalist. She’s hired by Runway, the most important fashion magazine of New York. Everybody who works there has to be in fashion. So to show her boss she could be in fashion, she asks the designer of Runway for some advice on how to be well-dressed. She changes her style. But will all these new things change Andy for the better or for the worst? Will Andy’s boss notice she is a good assistant?

This movie is based on a best-seller by Lauren Weisberger. The acting is good and so is the plot. The title is a personification of Andy’s boss. Although the performances are good, the screenplay isn’t very original and the thrilling opening showing New York isn’t that amazing.

The title might impress the audience because people might think the movie is about the devil. However, it’s a good way to show everybody the “devil” can be present in our ordinary lives.
People should watch this movie to see how difficult everybody’s first job is. It’s a very good comedy that makes you forget your problems by making you laugh a lot. The question is: Is this movie hit or miss? Only you can give this answer.

"2 Fast and 2 Furious"

The movie “2 Fast 2 Furious” is about a guy who goes to Miami to try to escape from the police. There, he meets an old friend and they start to take part in races together. However, they are arrested. They are supposed to be in jail but they make a deal with the cops, in which both of them must race to catch a criminal.
While they are racing, one of them falls in love with the criminal’s girlfriend and this triggers complications to the two friends.
The cast is composed of Paul Walker and Tyrese. The film has lots of racing scenes and is action-packed. There aren’t many special effects but there are amazing tricks by the stuntman.
You shouldn’t miss it!

"Forest Gump"

The best film I´ve ever seen is Forest Gump with Tom Hanks in the leading role, Robin Wrigth as “Jenny Curran”, Gary Sinise as “Lt Dan Taylor,the superb Sally Field as Forest´s mother and Haley Joel Osment in the role of . The film talks about a boy who he was handicapped and had many problems with the kids at school. He joins the U.S.A. Army to take part in the war against Korea and returns as a hero.

The plot holds opposing interpretations. It can either be seen as a critical view to the mediocrity of the North American society, in which someone like Forest ends up as a hero, or it can be seen as story where the main character overcomes individual problems and has a successful life.

The movie won six Oscars in 1995. I recommend it not only for the stunning performances, but also for the message.

All the children grow up, except one. Peter live sin Neverland , where there are pirates, mermaids, and other fantastic characters. He likes listening to stories while Wendy yawns.

The theme song is “Clocks” by Coldplay and there is an amazing soundtrack to support the brothers´adventures. Based on James Barry´s book, this plot will make you go back in time and feel like a child.

It´s certainly recommended due to the life lesson it holds.

"A Walk to Remember"

What is the best thing to do when you are alone, with your friends or with your boyfriend? The answer is: watch a romantic movie. A very good one, which pleases everyone who sees it is “A walk to remember”. It is a beautiful story of both love and loss throughout two very young lives. It takes place in the 90s. You can see the two main characters Landon Carter and Jamie Sullivan, who find themselves unexpectedly together after a practical joke between Landon and his friends, which causes a boy to be injured in hospital. As punishment Landon is forced to partake in some after school activities including the spring play. But Landon doesn’t know how to act, so he requires the help of the beautiful Jamie. She doesn’t need to be noticed, she is quiet, intelligent and she keeps herself to her most part of the time. They spend timetogether and in the play he kisses her. They start dating and Landon leaves his “friends”. One day when Jamie is walking with Landon she tells him that she is sick. From this day on Landon starts doing everything for her and they live a beautiful love story. It is a love like the wind you can’t see it but you can feel it.

You’ll cry a lot with this romantic movie, which is based on a book. It is very impressive how a man could write such an exciting story. The sound track and the actors’s perfomances contribute to the success of this film.

The songs interact with the story making spectators more and more passionate.

Everyone who likes romantic movies will keep it in mind because there isn’t nothing better than “a walk to remember” in our lives.

"CHICAGO" - The film





This amazing musical that attaches you from the beginning to the end, wonderfully directed by Rob Marshall, is about two murderesses. Velma Kelly killed her husband and sister after finding them in bed together, and Roxie Hart killed her boyfriend when she discovered he wasn't going to make her a star. Both end up in jail. Velma, who was already famous, begins to disappear from the papers giving place to Roxie. It all happens in Chicago, 1929.

Catherine Zeta-Jones, Renée Zellweger, Richard Gere, Queen Latifah and John C. Reilly, this is the incredible cast that composes Chicago. Each of them were nominated for Awards. Catherine won the Academy Award and Richard won the Golden Globe. Six Academy Awards were given to Chicago including “Best Motion Picture”. The soundtrack is amazing. There are songs from the lightest jazz, like “After Midnight”, to the heaviest, like “All that Jazz”, which is the theme song. It also includes “Cell Block Tango” which is the best song.

You’re going to watch musicals with other eyes. Chicago is a mixture of adultery and murder with comedy, drama and dance. You should see it.

"CLICK"

“Click” is a comedy which tells the story of an architect, Michael Newman, who is tired of his life. He doesn’t have time to his family, works a lot and doesn’t get the promotion he wants. One day, when he enters a store, he meets Morty, who gives him a Universal Control which will change his life. This device can control everything he wants. But what was good turns into a real nightmare in Michael’s life.

The special effects in the film are very good, especially Michael’s life menu and the moment when he pauses some scenes. The theme song is beautiful and a lot of songs in the movie are very moving. The story is very nice and funny because it makes people learn that they have to enjoy their lives.

It is a recommended comedy with a lesson to people who watch it. You laugh a lot and cry too. The story is very interesting and action – packed. It is worth watching.

"Perfume" - The story or a murder

"Perfume" is a German movie made in 2005. It's the adaptation of a best seller, which sold million copies around the world. The movie tells the story of Grenouile, a man who was born in the French fish market. He has no soul, no fellings, he only has an unbelievable talent for smelling. He can identify everything without difficulty. For the sake of it he becomes a great perfume maker. One day, when he is preparing one of his creations, he can smell a pretty girl who was walking beside him. He decides to follow her, and then he holds her on his arms and accidentally kills her. When she dies, her smell disappears and now Genouile will try to make a perfume with human essence. So he starts killing pretty girls as his source of material.

As the movie is not a Hollywood blockbuster and it's not a action movie, there are no special effects. But the photography is great, mixing a good combinations of colours and places, which are helped by the wonderful costumes. The best actor performance is by Dustin Hoffman, who plays the role of the master who teaches Grenouille how the perfumes are made.
It's recommended for the ones who like alternative and slow-paced stories. And, do not try to have popcorn during the moving, it can be very disgusting!

"Hooligans"




.... is a drama. However , it´s full of action and adventure, and the plot is very good . Unfairly expelled from Harvard, the American Matt Buckner (Elija Wood, from “The Lord of the Rings”) travels to his sister’s house in London. There he meets and makes friends with the brother of his sister’s husband, Pete Dunham (Charlie Hunnam), the leader of the famous football firm GSE (Green Street Hooligans) and he is introduced to the world of the English hooligans. Matt gets involved and learns to stand his ground through the friendship he develops in this secret and dangerous world full of violence. “Hooligans” is about a story of loyalty, confidence and the brutal consequences of living in the limit.

It is full of effects in the fighting scenes between the violent firms, and the result is really good, making everyone who watches feel the violence going on there. That is supported by the amazing performances os Elija Wood, Charlie Hunnam, Claire Forlani, Leo Gragory and many other qualified actors in this fast-paced plot.

Everyone who likes football, fights and bravery, and mainly people who can stand their ground no matter what happens, should watch it.

The main characters of this dispute are: Aragon(Viggo Mortenson), Gandalf(Ian Mckellen), Sam(Sean Astin), Gollum(Andy Serkis), Pippin(Billy Boyd), Legolas(Orlando Bloom), Gimli(John Rhys-Davies), Boromir(Sean Bean), Frodo(Elijah Wood), Merry(Dominic Monaghan), Saruman(Cristopher Lee) etc. Directed by Peter Jackson, this fiction’s soundtrack includes “May it be” and “Aniron” by/ Enya. There are amazing special effects.

"The Lion King"


...is the film I like most because it is a very educative and moving story. One of the most popular drawings of Disney, the Lion King presents the life of a lion and the acceptance of its destination. Simba is born as a prince, son of powerful King Mufasa. The happy infancy of Simba tragically changed when its bad and greedy uncle kills Mufasa and banishes the young prince from the kingdom. In the exile, Simba knows Timão and Pumba, two amusing friends who take a free and easy life. As Simba grows , he is visited by the spirit of his father who instructs him to reconquer the throne.

Voices in the original version were dubbed by Matthew Broderick (Simba), Jeremy Irons (Scar), James Earl Jones (Mufasa) ,Nathan Lane (Rudder) , Ernie Sabella (Pumbaa) and Jonathan Taylor Thomas (young Simba).
Direction: Roger Allers Robert Minkoff.

This production has its sonorous track by Elton John . It was released in 1994 and it´s still popular.

"Click" - The Movie

The story is about Michael Newman, an arquitect who wants a promotion in his job, and he also wants a universal remote control to turn on and turn off electronic things. A salesman called Morty gives him a control that changes the life of Michael and his family because it has strange and funny powers.

Michael Newman is interpreted by Adam Sandler, and his wife Donna by Kate Beckinsale. Morty ,who gives the control to Michael, is interpreted by Christopher Walken. Sean Astin plays the role of Bill Rando, a swimmer. David Hasselhoff plays the role of Ammer, Michael’s boss. The Director is Frank Coraci. The special effects are very good, compatible with the reality, but they aren’t perfect.

Click is a very good film. It’s funny, cool, interesting, exciting, sometimes it’s sad, but it has a very good end. You can rent Click and have some popcorn and fun.

"La Vita é Bela"

...is a film that shows the Second World War. Is a story about an Italian man, who was Jewish, and his son. Nazis took him and his family to the prison. His wife is taken to another building in the prison and his uncle is killed by the Nazis.

This film is directed by Roberto Benigni, produced by Elda Ferri and Gianluigi Braschi and the protagonist is Roberto Benigni. It was recorded in 1997 in Italy. This amazing production has won 40 awards, including 3 Oscars for “Best Actor” Roberto Benigni, “Best track” and “Best Film”.

Besides being a classic, it is recommended because it shows the Second World War from a Jewish point of view during the war, and it is also a beautiful romance.

"Trair e Coçar é só começar"

It is a funny production about hypothesis of adultery, created by a housekeeper. It is a comedy of customs with all the confusions of the sort. Olímpia is the main character in the movie and the one who complicates the action. The plot is based on supposed misunderstandings about infidelities . The director’s name is Attílio Ricó. The actors wear casual clothes and Olímpia wears a traditional black uniform.

The hilarious scenes are the result of wonderful performances ,

I really recommend this movie because it is very interesting, funny and you will relax!

"Ice Age"

Twenty hundred years ago, in the ice age, all animals left to the South. Sid, a sloth who never stops talking ,meets Manny, a mammoth who left to the north and Sid decides to follow him, but on the way they find a human baby and Diego a saber tooth join them to return the baby to his father, but they will have a lot of problems.

The director of this film is Chris Wedge, and the co-director is a Brazilian, Carlos Saldanha. Ray Romano does Manny’s voice, John Leguizamo is Sid’s voice, Denis Leary is Diego’s voice, Goran Visnjic is Soto’s voice and Jack Black, is Leke´s voice.

“ Ice Age ” is funny, interesting and its end is very moving, which makes it highly recommended.

"Spiderman 2"






Peter Park (the hero) needs to defeat Harry Osborn and a new enemy, Dr. Octopus. The main characters are Peter Park, Mary Jane, Dr.Octopus and Norman Osborn, played respectively by Sam Raiani and Arvyn Sargent, who show a good performace. Spider man 2 is a good movie and a very funny story.



Peter (Tobey Maguire) falls in love with Mary Jane (Kisthn Dunst) but the enemies try to defeat Peter and Mary, and he uses all his energy to save her. Dr. Osborn (Alfred Molina) needs to kill Spider man to obtain the victory and dominate the World! The film has many special effects and is really action-packed, however its a cliché plot. Spider man 2 is better than the first one and you’ll need a lot of popcorn.

It talks about a guy, Alex Fletcher ( Hugh Grant ), who was very famous, but nowadays is not anymore and many people don’t know him. He has got a bad job, but he has a lot of memories about his old singer’s life. There is a TV program is Los Angeles, a big show with Cora. She is very famous singer and the public likes it very. In a TV interview Cora says that she is a fan of Alex Fletcher. When he sees that, he decides to meet her and she asks him to compose a song for them to
sing together.


The actors in this film are very nice, because they interpret very well their characters. However, the plot is long. There are many good songs.

It’s recommended to everybody and you will need a lot of pop corn.

"A rumor of the angels"

The film talks about a boy, James (Travor Morgan) whose mother dies in a car accident. His father Nathan (Ray Liotta), never tals about the tragedy. Than, James meets an old woman, Maddy (Vanessa Redgrave) and they become friends. Maddy lost her son in the war, and than she heps James through the trauma. She teaches him many things about death and the angels.
The film videved in Canadá. This drama is very emotional. The actress, Vanessa Redgrave and the actor Travor Morgan are superb.

It is recommended to everybody. Redgrave's message of the story is beautiful and her performance is great. How ever, some people may be put off by the execessive sentimentaly.

Direct by James Cameron, this dramatic romance has good effects. The theme song is very involving and the costumes are very beautiful.


I think the people should watch this film, because it´s so classic and it´s a beautiful love history.

"The Mark of Zorro"

The film tells us about Zorro’s life. He is the hero and helps the poor people in Spain by giving them money or setting them free. But the king doesn’t like this, then he decides that Zorro needs to disappear and he is taken to a distant prison for many years. After a long time, Zorro escapes and he wants revenge.


Antonio Banderas is amazing as Zorro, he is a great actor and in the film, he “fights” very well with the “soldiers”. Catherine Zeta Jones, who is also a wonderful actress , is the angry Helena. In the film they are a beautiful couple. The prejudice against the poor people can be noticed by the society behaviour. The costume design shows the amazing elegance of the rich women, who had to wear long dresses and need to accept the opinions and decisions of their husbands.


In this romantic adventure film the actors and actress are all great and beautiful. The story is very cool, funny and at the same time soapy.

with her. However, because of an accident the girl has short memory and every night she

"The Chronicles of Narnia: the Lion, the Witch and the wardrobe"

This movie is about four children (Pedro, Edmundo, Susana and Lucy) who move to a new house because of the war in their city, London. In the house, they find a wardrobe and when they go inside, they enter a new world named Narnia. Narnia’s king is Aslam, but the White Witch has taken his throne and now in Narnia it is always winter. Only two Adam’s sons (Pedro and Edmundo) and two Eva’s daughters (Susana and Lucy) can save Narnia from the White Witch.
The costume design corresponds to the Second World War period. The movie has an excellent cast and fantastic visual effects.
“The Chronicles of Narnia” is a very beautiful movie based on
C. S. Lewis’ books. It’s recommended for all the ages.

"Click" - The movie

“Click” is about a man who is given a remote control which can control time. He can access his life `s menu and come back in time, he can see facts of his life, freeze time and skip parts of his life like his job, sicknesses and other things.

The story is amazing and this is a funny comedy film with good actors, amazing performances and interesting special effects. The movie makes us think about life values.

You have to see this funny and moving production. Maybe it can turn into a blockbuster.

"Like Mike 2"

The star of this film is JJ (Jerome Jenkins Junior)and his two friends Kevin and Carl .They love playing basketball and they want to play like Michael Jordan , the best player in the world. Jerome’s father doesn’t like basketball so he doesn´t allow him to play it , but Jerome doesn’t listen to his father and keeps trying .

The film was recorded in many courts in Philadelphia.The cast is formed by Michael Jordan, Isiah Thomas , Kevin Clark , Carl James and Michelle Pfeifer and the kids are Jason , Carter and John.

This is a cool story for those who like sports, specially basketball. It’s a very interesting and funny plot which will make you eat a lot of popcorn !

Pirates of the Caribbean is an adventure story set in 17th century when pirates scavenged the Caribbean seas. The star is Will Turner (Orlando Bloom), who is the son of a pirate but he doesn’t know that. Captain Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush) has stole Jack Sparrow´s ship (Johnny Deep), the Black Pearl, and then attacks the city of Port Royal and abducts Elizabeth (Keira Knightley), the governer’s daughter. Will and Jack will rescue her, but they don’t know that Barbossa and his crew have a curse.

This film is very good because it shows the 17th century and how people lived at that time. It has a good cast and very amazing special effects. A plot that involves you ,this film was nominated for the Oscar.

"The Fast and the Furious"




Domenic is the leader of a street race gang in Los Angeles, which is being investigated by the police for electronic equipment robbery and smuggling.

Brian is an investigator who has joined the gang to discover if Domenic is really the criminal and if there is somebody else behind.




There are amazing chasing scenes performed by talented stunts .
However, the romantic moments of the story make it a bit soapy.
It is good film for those who like action- packed movies.

"Garfield" - The Movie

In the beginning, Garfield was a very selfish cat. He wanted all the things and the attention for him and that is the reason why he hated when he`s owner took a dog to live with them. He didn´t want to share the love of his owner with the dog. Garfield showed us he was a good cat when he did everything to save the dog from the bad man. And he liked when the dog came to live with him.
I liked this movie very much because it seemed a real cat. His movements were very natural and I liked the music .The other animals that took part in the film performed very well.
I suggest that you should watch Garfield because it is a very beatiful film and I am sure children and adults will like it.

"Fast and the Furious"

Speed…

it is so easy to get it. Brian O’Connor, who is a policeman, discloses his disguise and lets the leader of a gigantic equipment contraband operation run away with his street race car. In another city, his last chance to prove that he is a good cop is to photograph Carter Verone, an executive that uses his importation and exportation business to hide a money cartel laundering.

The cast is superb because it has many important actors like Paul Walker (Brian O’Connor, the main character), Tyrese (Roman Pearce), Eva Mendes (Monica Fuentes), Thom Barry (Agent Bilkins), Cole Hauser (Carter Verone).The soundtrack is amazing and the cars are so beautiful.

It’s a very good and interesting film about street racers and the stunt men perform incredible tricks. You shouldn’t miss it.

"The Persuit of Happiness"



In the “The Pursuit of Happiness” Chris Gardner is the main character, who is performed by Will Smith.

The film talks about his life and his dream to be a stockbroker in the New York stock and to be happy with his son.

The film has a good cast: Will Smith, Jaden Smith, Thandie Newton, Brian Howe, Dan Castellaneta and Takayo Fischer. The acting was great but the best performance of the film was Will Smith´s (Chris Gardner). The soundtrack is very beautiful.


This production shows the difficulties people face when they need to overcome certain situations. It´s a recommended lesson for life.

There are many fights, heroes and villains. General Grevious leads the separatists and Han Solo is in charge of the commerce federation. As the story takes place in the future, there are some amazing special effects and the robots draw everybody´s attention.

"Harry Potter and the Gobblet of Fire"






In his fourth year in Hogwarts, Harry Potter is called by a
globet of fire to participate in a dangerous Tri-Wizard Tournament. He has to fight a dragon, furious and strange sea creatures and a confusing labyrinth. Moreover, Harry has to be worry with a ball and who he’ll dance with; but Harry doesn’t know that the game will become life-true when he is face-to-face with his enemy Lord Voldemort.


The film is full of imagination, creativity, umbelievable special
effects, which you’ll never watch again and which are the most important things in the film. In Harry Potter and the Globet of Fire we can see more than ever that the production pledged on the costume design, beyond those caps, and ties, yellow and red scarves and those things of Hogwarts, now we can enjoy the formal clothes of the ball, like beatiful Indian dresses, fur coats and other items.


An instrumental melody in the beginning gave start to a fantastic film directed by Mike Newell with a great young cast, like Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, Ralph Fiennes, Tom Felton, Robert Pattinson, and other. The film is excellent and recommended to anyone!

"The holiday"....

is a very interesting movie , a story of two women who live in different countries and meet through the Internet. Cameron Diaz lives in an expensive house in the U.S.A. . She works with commercials and has just finished a relationship with her boyfriend. Kate Winslet has an ordinary life in a small house in England.


They exchange homes and their lives drastically change as they both fall in love during this experience . It´s a very good romance and it´s recommended to all ages. There is a highly qualified cast and a marvellous direction. On the whole, it´s an interesting story.

"The Holiday"

“The Holiday” is a romantic comedy which talks about life’s transformation.
Iris Simpkins is a woman who is in love with a guy but he will marry another woman. And Amanda Woods discovers that her husband has been unfaithful. So these girls, who don’t know each other and live so far from each other, decide to do a two-week “interchange” through an Internet site.

On the first day Iris meets Arthur and then Miles. Amanda meets Iris’ brother.
In this unexpected change of plans, the two women discover that “the best travels
are those you leave all your baggage behind”. So, we can say that their lives change.

The important characters are Amanda (Cameron Diaz), Iris (Kate Winslet),
Iris’ brother (Jude Law), Miles (Jack Black) and Arthur (Eli Wallach). It happens
at Christmas time. The story takes place in Los Angeles and in a upland of England.
It’s recommended because it is funny and beautiful. It’s a bit long but you will
not regret wathing it. One of the good songs of this film is Mr.Brightside.

“Bad Boys II” is an action-adventure film. The famous actors in this production directed by Michael Bay are Will Smith and Martin Laurence, who are two Miami Police detectives in search for drugs and the leader of the drug traffic. These two brave men will face embarrassing moments.

The movie has many special effects such as several car chases on the road and around the slum quarter, house explosions and there is a good soundtrack. However, there are many violent scenes.

Written and directed by the Wachowski brothers, Larry and Andy, “The Matrix” has two games for Sony PlayStation 2 and Nintendo GameCube.

"Night at the Museum"




“Night at the museum” tells the story of Larry Daley (Ben Stiller), who lived extraordinary moments while working. He can watch battles between Mayans and Roman gladiators and cowboys emerge from their diorama. He is persecuted by a T-Rex, and makes friend with a monkey.

The plot takes place at the museum of natural history during Larry’s shift.This production is rich in computer special effects to create pictures and unreal characters. The story takes place at the present, so the costumes are basic and modern.

"Blood Diamond"

The main actor in this production is Leonardo Di Caprio, who won an Oscar for best performance some years ago. The story takes place in Africa and the plot is about diamonds exploitation an illegal trade. Jack meets a girl who is a journalist. He falls in love with her and she helps him find a special diamond. However, another man is looking for it in order to set his family free. Danny decides to join him and both men set off to a dangerous journey in Sierra Leone.

This is an action-packed film which is a bit violent but has fantastic photography. It´s a very interesting and controversial plot which I enjoyed a lot and I do recommend it.

"Happy Feet" - the movie

In the nation of Emperor Penguins in Antartica, everybody can sing, but Mumble is different. He doesn’t know how to sing, but he sure can tap dance. His mom thinks he is cute, but his dad knows that without a “heart song”, his son will have a lot of problems in his life because he may never find true love. His one friend Gloria is the best singer around, and they will have a lot of adventures in the film.


The director is George Miller, and the voices are Nicole Kidman’s, Elijah Wood’s, Hugh Jackman’s, Robie Williams’s, Brittany Murphy’s and Hugo Weaving’s. The soundtrack, which includes “Somebody to love” and “Bogie wonderland” is good. It´s a very funny animated movie.

Beautiful songs, dancing and love make it highly recommended.
